P1-P4 Distance music performance using LoLa equipment held on April 13, 2021

The first live jazz session of students and teachers of the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade (P1) and the Royal Conservatoire The Hague (P4), was realized on April 13, 2021 using LoLa (Low-latency) equipment for distance music performance.

Teachers and students of Jazz and Popular music Department, Faculty of Music in Belgrade Bojan Cvetković (jazz piano), Stefan Stehlik (jazz guitar) and Luka Ignjatović (saxophone) were joined by their colleagues from Jazz department of the Royal Conservatoire The Hague Ramy Dielemans (double bass) and Borut Rampih (drums) in one-hour jazz session.

The session was proceeded by a jazz drums master class with participation of student from Belgrade Aleksa Milijanović and jazz drums teacher Felix Schlarmann from The Hague.

LoLa jazz session and master class were recorded, directed, edited and produced by students of the new master study program Music direction, under the mentorship of their teachers.

Joint music performances by students and teachers of Serbian and EU academic partner institutions, using LoLa system for distance music performance are part of the project activity 4.3, with an aim to enhance digital competencies and skills, along with creative and artistic experience.
