Results of DEMUSIS based research presented at LATIMPE digital platform

Research paper entitled Distance Learning in Higher Music Education: Case Study of Academy of Arts, Novi Sad, based on the results of the research conducted in the scope of DEMUSIS project, was presented on 13-14 May 2020 at LATIMPE (Learning and Teaching in Music Performance Education) conference Students as researching artists - music, technology and musicianship by Ira Prodanov Krajišnik. It was presented within session 4a) Performing and learning online (abstracts available at LATIMPE digital platform).

The aim of the paper was to share results of research on the students’ and teachers’ attitude toward distance learning, and to present the first phase of distance learning offered at the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad (P2). The research is closely related to the realization of project activity WP4.4 (Online courses implemented) at P2 and other national HEIs, offering valuable insight into opinion of main target groups on distance learning.

This was a second conference on Learning and Teaching in Higher Music Education, organized by AEC (Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen) and CEMPE (Centre for Excellence in Music Performance Education), focused on digital learning and teaching in higher music education, exploring the use of digital tools, online learning environments, while sharing experiences and ideas on online music learning and teaching.
